Our Upcoming Civic League Meetings

Monday, April 8th at 6:30PM we are proud to host guest speaker, Ward 2 city councilwoman, Courtney Doyle.

Ms. Doyle currently serves on the board of Norfolk Innovation Corridor. Additionally, Ms. Doyle serves a board member for the Elizabeth River Project.  She previously served on the Norfolk School Board from 2013 to 2018. She has also served as a member of the Norfolk Recreation Parks and Open Space Commission, President and Vice-President of the West Ghent Civic League, board member of the American Heart Association, and member of the Young Leadership Society of United Way South Hampton Roads.

About the Civic League

The Colonial Place & Riverview Civic League was created to:

  • Promote the development of our neighborhoods as better places to live
  • Unite for the cooperation and interchange of ideas
  • Encourage anyone who is interested to participate in the activities of the Civic League 
  • Focus on the beautification, historical appreciation, recreation, safety and security of our residents, and the protection of property

Page membership is open to all residents of CPRV, whether a homeowner or a renter. Civic league membership is not required, but most appreciated.
