Maddy grew up in Colonial Place and has lived here with her husband Ryan, their dog, and their cat since April of 2021. She’s a graduate of William & Mary, and a local realtor, with a passion for civic duty and community engagement.

Terry has resided in Riverview with his wife Bryttnie since 2022. They too have one dog (Cora) and a cat (Wilson), and Terry is passionate about community-building and environmental stewardship. He is excited to work with neighbors to maintain and improve our public spaces and waterways!

Gene and his partner Lisa moved from Baltimore to Tidewater 3 years ago. With a global upbringing and a career in hospitality, the arts, and community leadership, Gene looks forward to actively contributing to Colonial Place and Riverview.

About the Civic League

The Colonial Place & Riverview Civic League was created to:

  • Promote the development of our neighborhoods as better places to live
  • Unite for the cooperation and interchange of ideas
  • Encourage anyone who is interested to participate in the activities of the Civic League 
  • Focus on the beautification, historical appreciation, recreation, safety and security of our residents, and the protection of property
