CPRV Community Yard Sale 2026 Recap: A Rain Date Worth the Wait
The 2026 CPRV Community Yard Sale overcame a rainy first date and returned the next day with 44 participating homes, strong shopper turnout, and plenty of neighborhood energy.

In October of 2022, the city of Norfolk reached out regarding our neighborhood’s desire to install 4-way stop signs at Columbus Ave and LaValette Ave.
During our Civic League meeting in December, the idea was presented to the membership, and the membership voted in favor of installing the 4-way stop signs. At the end of February, the city installed the additional stop sign.
We appreciate the city and the Civic League working together to make this happen!

Over three dozen neighbors gathered at Kingdom Embassy on April 13 for the Colonial Place and Riverview Civic League’s April General Membership Meeting. The evening focused on two key themes: the future growth of Norfolk and the continued safety of our neighborhoods.
