To make reporting streetlight outages faster and easier, we have obtained a Dominion Energy Streetlight Reference Map for our neighborhood. The map shows the exact location and pole number for every streetlight, so you don’t have to guess, squint, or wander the block at night playing “Is this the one?”
For clarity, Dominion Energy shortens each grid address to the last four characters on the physical pole.
Our map helps you match that pole number to the full grid address Dominion requires when submitting a report.
Find the streetlight on the CPRV Streetlight Reference Map.
Note the pole number shown on the map.
When reporting to Dominion, add the first part of the grid address based on where the pole falls within the neighborhood boundary.
Example:
Using the full grid address helps Dominion identify the correct pole quickly and speeds up repairs—less back-and-forth, more light where it belongs.
If you have questions or need help locating a pole, reach out to the Civic League and we’ll point you in the right direction.
