The Mayflower Path Restoration Continues!

Exciting progress is underway along the Mayflower path as CPRV continues its efforts to restore and enhance this important natural area.

Joshua (pictured here on the right) and his colleagues with the Elizabeth River Project recently began preliminary cleanup work along the path. In coordination with the City of Norfolk’s Stormwater Management Department, the team focused on clearing the largest areas of overgrowth in preparation for a community follow-up cleanup on Friday, September 11.

This collaborative effort is an important step toward restoring the area’s natural wetlands buffer and bringing the community’s vision for the Mayflower Path to life.

We are grateful to our partners at the Elizabeth River Project and the City of Norfolk for their work and support.

Neighbors are invited to join the next cleanup effort on Friday, September 11, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
