Commercial Corridor Pilot

Monday, December 12, 2022 – Sean Washington, Executive Director of the Norfolk Economic Development Authority (EDA), gave CPRV civic league meeting attendees at Kingdom Embassy Ministries a brief introduction to plans for a pilot program aimed at boosting four (4) commercial corridors within the city of Norfolk (to include: Riverview, 35th street, Lafayette, Little Creek). More information about the program will be officially released to the public sometime in mid-January 2023, with an anticipated business/commercial real estate grant application launch date of February 2023.

Neighbors and Experts Team Up to Prune 200+ Crepe Myrtles in Colonial Place

This month, Colonial Place neighbors rolled up their sleeves and joined forces with teams from the Norfolk Master Gardeners and City Forester Steven Traylor for an educational and hands-on pruning event.
