CPRV Food Drive 2024 Thank You
A resounding success! That’s the final take on December’s CPRV Holiday Food Drive, benefitting ODU students through the Monarch Food Pantry and the Global Friendship House.
We have a nomination for the elected board position of Neighborhood Representative. The bylaws state that the role of a Neighborhood Representative is as follows:
“The neighborhood representative shall be a resident of and represent either neighborhood if, after the election of the other four elected officers, such neighborhood is not otherwise represented by another elected officer.”
Patience MacCartney is a Riverview resident interested in becoming more involved in our community and has been nominated for the position. A special election will take place during our civic league meeting on March 13, 2023. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with Laura Burns at president@cprv.net.
We hope to see everyone at the February meeting! Make sure to sign up here!

From December 1st through December 15th, we invite you to join us in supporting ODU International Students and the Monarch Food Pantry by donating nonperishable food items. Your generosity will help ensure that students facing food insecurity have access to essential resources. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference in their lives. Together, we can build a stronger, more supportive community for our Monarch family. Thank you for making an impact!
