Phase 1 of the Mayflower Path Restoration and Stabilization project has been completed. Thanks to the efforts of ERP (Elizabeth River Project), a stable new pathway has been installed, and preliminary plugs have been planted. This project is all about rejuvenating a strip of land that had become water-resistant, leading to pooling and damage around the bulkhead. With the newly restored path, we’re on a mission to bring back water and plant life, stabilize the soil, reduce erosion, and protect the lifespan of our bulkhead.

Riverview Village is growing, and it’s with great pleasure that we welcome Pittie Dog Grill to the neighborhood. You can find them at 4140 Granby Street, ready to serve you with delicious food and warm hospitality. Be sure to stop by and support this new addition to our community!
After nearly 18 months of hard work since breaking ground, we are thrilled to announce the opening of the PRU & LOUIS RYAN RESILIENCE LAB in North Colley. Our doors are open for preview programming and sneak peek public tours. This incredible facility features a boardwalk, research dock, solar panels, a magnificent 3-story art wall, and more.
Visit the ERP website at elizabethriver.org/ryan-resilience-lab to book a tour and explore the diverse programming opportunities. The official Grand Opening for the lab will occur in spring 2024 once all these remarkable features are completed.
The heart of CPRV is its strong sense of community, and we always need helping hands to keep our neighborhood thriving. Are you a computer-savvy marketer, PR professional, or just someone passionate about community involvement? Do you have experience with WordPress, blogging, newsletters, or other skills to offer?
We are currently looking for a Media Committee chair to join our team. If you’re interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to get involved in another way, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at president@cprv.net.
Our community is stronger when we come together, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for Colonial Place and Riverview.
