Erick Pinzon, Jr., founder of Electrified Marina, will speak about innovative, sustainable waterfront amenities and the future of community-focused access along the Elizabeth River.

Josh Coplon of Norfolk Kayak Rentals shares how residents can explore the beautiful Lafayette River through rentals and eco-tours.

Lucy Hall of Oculus Rail, a Norfolk-based free mobile app that helps communities track and manage blocked railroad crossings that can delay emergency response, school buses, farm equipment, and daily travel. The system is already installed at more than 40 crossings across Hampton Roads and was founded by former Norfolk City Council member Andria McClellan.

About the Civic League

The Colonial Place and Riverview Civic League was created to:

  • Promote the development of our neighborhoods as better places to live
  • Unite for the cooperation and interchange of ideas
  • Encourage anyone who is interested to participate in the activities of the Civic League 
  • Focus on the beautification, historical appreciation, recreation, safety, and security of our residents, and the protection of property

Page membership is open to all residents of CPRV, whether homeowners or renters. Civic league membership is not required but most appreciated.
