Just a few years ago, attendance hovered around four or five people. Seeing a full room, an engaged audience, and an active volunteer board was a powerful reminder of how far Colonial Place and Riverview have come. It was a true testament to the support of our neighbors and the many hands that helped get us here, and it left us looking toward 2026 with real optimism for the future of our neighborhoods.
Board updates rounded out the evening. Social Events highlighted upcoming activities, including the private tour of the Baron and Ellin Gordon Art Galleries on February 21 and plans for the spring yard sale. Media shared the new postcard mailed across CPRV and discussed recent social media efforts. Membership provided an update on current registrations and the value of joining. The Treasurer offered a brief overview of our financial standing. Our Riverview representative shared general city updates, and the Environmental team discussed connecting with new volunteers to move initiatives forward.
Overall, the evening reflected a growing, engaged, and collaborative community, and it was encouraging to see so many neighbors invested in the shared future of Colonial Place and Riverview.
