At our Monday, July 13, 2026, Colonial Place Riverview Civic League General Membership Meeting, residents came together to hear important public safety updates, learn about exciting developments shaping our waterfront, discuss neighborhood initiatives, and connect over the issues that matter most to our community. Whether you joined us in person or couldn’t make it, here’s a recap of the key discussions, announcements, and opportunities that will help shape the future of Colonial Place and Riverview.

The Colonial Place Riverview Civic League held its general membership meeting, featuring updates on community safety, financial status, and upcoming events. The community resource officers reported recent incidents, including thefts and a stolen vehicle, and discussed enforcement of park hours. Terry Glover, a principal of the upcoming Dockside Social, presented plans for the new restaurant, emphasizing community input, a family-friendly atmosphere, and addressing past environmental issues. The civic league shared updates on the Mayflower Buffer Path, the city’s All-America City award, and financial reports indicating a healthy balance. Membership and social committees announced new leadership and upcoming events, such as a happy hour and a back-to-school supply drive.
