September in CPRV brings community cleanups, new local businesses, neighborhood updates, upcoming events, and plenty to celebrate!
We have a nomination for the elected board position of Neighborhood Representative. The bylaws state that the role of a Neighborhood Representative is as follows:
“The neighborhood representative shall be a resident of and represent either neighborhood if, after the election of the other four elected officers, such neighborhood is not otherwise represented by another elected officer.”
Patience MacCartney is a Riverview resident interested in becoming more involved in our community and has been nominated for the position. A special election will take place during our civic league meeting on March 13, 2023. If you have any questions or concerns, please get in touch with Laura Burns at president@cprv.net.

A dedicated group of 12 volunteers came together to help beautify our neighborhood, removing an impressive 12 bags of litter from the Mayflower path all the way to Delaware Avenue, including litter along the water.
Thank you to our CPRV neighbors for supporting our Back-to-School Supply Drive for James Monroe Elementary School. The drive was a joint effort of the CPRV Social and Community Improvement Committees.
Exciting progress is underway along the Mayflower path as CPRV continues its efforts to restore and enhance this important natural area.
