Thank you to everyone who joined the Tailgate & Trails event at Lambert’s Point City Park.
Despite the rainy start, neighbors showed up with umbrellas, good spirits, and plenty of curiosity. The group made it through the weather and was rewarded with a break in the rain as the sun came out for the trail portion of the morning.
A special thank you to Friends of Lambert’s Point City Park board members Brian and Inger Friedman, who led attendees through an informative tour of the park, sharing insight into its history, current conditions, and long-term potential as a unique waterfront green space.
The morning was a great reminder that our parks, trails, and public spaces are more than amenities. They are community connectors. Even on a gray morning, it was wonderful to see neighbors gathering, learning, and continuing to invest their time and attention into the places that shape our community.
Thank you again to everyone who attended and helped make the morning a success.
