CPRV Civic League Meeting 08AUG22 6:30 – 7:22 p.m.
President started the meeting at 6:33 p.m.
President introduced two (2) speakers –
New Community Resource Officer, Officer Charles Dreer, 757-353-1268, or charles.dreer@norfolk.gov. Police Non-Emergency – 757-441-5610.
Generic Theater, Anne Odell, with an update on their efforts to move into area.
Secretary – no updates/no minutes.
VP – many community projects for the fall, if you want to volunteer please email community@cprv.net.
Media – working on
Treasurer –
Treasurer’s report – provided details of treasurer’s report.
Storage unit – if anyone has any civic league owned property, please contact any board member to move it into the new civic league storage unit.
Fielded question on Advertisers – some confusion over which ones and will be addressed at board mtg next week.

Paddle – first paddle of the season – this coming weekend – FB page
September – working with Kim Swecker on garden party
October – possible cleanup events
Grants – Infrastructure/safety events – if tied to school children, can put in for grants. For more information, see Bike Safe Routes to School.
Membership – few events coming up for adding members in the new year.

Justin Shafer and Eric Berger, Storm Water Project Managers with the City of Norfolk’s Department of Public Works, will speak about flooding issues our neighborhoods face.
Please help us collect nonperishable food items for neighbors in need. This food drive will serve families and/or individuals in need within our own community!
